What trims come with the Gladiator?
In order to give you the options and customization you want, Jeep has made sure to offer the Gladiator in four different trim levels. The base trim is called Sport, and it includes heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles, removable top and doors to give you open-air freedom, a fold-down windshield, a five-foot bed, and a three-position tailgate. There’s also an available roll-up tonneau cover to add versatility with your cargo carrying options. Another available trim is called Sport S, which includes 17-inch tech silver aluminum wheels that look amazing standing still, and even better when in motion. You’ll also be able to add a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an available 115-volt in-bed power outlet. Next up is Overland, which comes standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, forward collision warning with active braking, adaptive cruise control, 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels, available LED headlamps, and an available leather-trimmed interior. The last model, Rubicon, includes features like an electronic disconnecting front sway bar, Tru-Lok electronic locking front and rear differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tires, 11.1-inches of ground clearance, and an available TrailCam off-road camera.
What are the engine options for the Gladiator?
There are two engines that will be eventually offered with the Gladiator. The first engine is a 3.6-liter V6, which creates up to 260 lb-ft of torque and 285 horsepower. What further makes this engine stand out are features like ESS, which help make the focus shift to low-end torque which is needed whenever you’re off-roading. This engine gets paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, although there is an 8-speed automatic option. The other engine, which will be made available later on, is an EcoDiesel 3.0-liter V6. This engine can pump out 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. The previously mentioned 8-speed automatic transmission is paired with the EcoDiesel.
